This work was a collaboration with poet and near (and dear) neighbour, Dr Sarah Rice. Sarah and I both walk on our nearby mountain, Mount Majura, and her poem 'On the Mountain' and my imagery developed apace and then came together on the work, a separate vessel for each stanza. The work was shown again at an exhibition as part of the seminar, 'Talking the Walk,Walking the Talk', at the ANU School of Art in 2014. Here it was was shown in a different configuration, the beauty of Sarah's poem being that it could be read in any order.
